In 1991, Treb Heining was asked to create an effect that would transform theNew Years Eve ball drop in Times Square. In response, he created the “confetti blizzard” that consists of 100 trusted volunteers to disperse confetti by hand from the rooftops of Time Square. For the past 32 years, Treb has continued to lead this effect and bring magic to New York City. The confetti that’s used is made from 100% recycled material that would otherwise be discarded, and is biodegradable.
